Reclaimed hospitality

One river. Three rooms. The lost art of lingering.

River House sits on the Nerang in Southport, quietly reasserting the Gold Coast's lost art of hospitality. Under one roof, three rooms keep three different promises: a restaurant for the weekend, a neighbour for Monday night, and a floor built for celebrations. The river sets the pace for all three.

River House

Thursday to Monday · dinner

Fine dining above the water. Our chef cooks flavours that wander from Europe to Asia and settle in Queensland, served at the pace of theatre across three candlelit levels.

River Cottage

Monday night · bring your own bottle

One night a week the house belongs to the neighbourhood. Bring the bottle you have been saving, we will cook around it: bread from the oven, chowder, and a table nobody hurries.
